Sailing Belize

Sailing Belize on a Bareboat Yacht Charter is one the best vacations we’ve ever had. Sailing Belize being on a Caribbean Cruise is truly a romantic vacation. If you want to go Sailing in Belize let me tell you about the Sailing yacht you want to do it on. Always & All Ways is a Fountaine Pajot Belize 43, a refinement of the Venezia 42, the most popular catamaran ever built. As the premier builder of cruising cats, Fountaine Pajot used its 50 years of experience plus the feedback from 100's of customers to create the Ultimate Cruising Cat - the Belize 43. We chose this model after evaluating and sailing most of the cats on the market today. Since our plan is to move aboard Always & All Ways and sail her around the Caribbean Sea for a couple years upon retirement (see The Five Year Plan), we wanted a sailing vessel that could truly take us anywhere in any weather as well as a sailing vessel we could call 'home'. This is that sailing vessel We are happy to share her with you and appreciate your helping us afford our dream.

This cat has everything! With four separate staterooms and two huge heads arranged for separate access from each stateroom, everyone has all the luxury and privacy they could ever want. The two single berths are perfect for kids or crew. The two aft staterooms feature walk-around berths with access from both the foot and the side. A step up platform along the side makes getting in and out as easy as your bed at home. Plus, all the double berths feature a slat type suspension that gives the comfort of an innerspring mattress - a real improvement compared to what you will find on many sailing vessels.

The galley features separate refrigerator and deep freeze so you never want for ice and frozen food stays frozen. The propane cooker with oven means muffins for breakfast in addition to your eggs. And of course, no gimbals needed as Always & All Ways never heals enough to notice. All 10 guests can eat at either the beautiful interior salon table or around the cockpit table under the shade of an extra sturdy bimini. Multiple opening hatches insure comfort below, but this sailing vessel also has complete air conditioning if you ever want it. A genset provides 110V for the microwave or your hair drier.

All Fountiane Pajot cats sail well, and Always & All Ways is no exception. Visibility from the helm is excellent and the little windscreen really works to keep rain off the skipper and his charts on those rare occasions that you have to sail in the rain. All control lines are led to the cockpit so sail trimming is a breeze and the Doyle Stackpak makes raising or dropping sail easy. Underway, 'Otto' (the Autohelm 6000 autopilot) can keep you on a steady compass course or sail to the wind angle - your choice. If you have never experienced the control that twin screws placed 22' apart gives when under power, you are in for a treat. This cat turns a full 360 in its own length and can be parallel parked easier than a car. In the evening, the Delta anchor on all chain rode with integral bridal is quick and easy to set using the electric windlass. The secondary Fortress allows you to control swing or be prepared for wind shifts allowing you to sleep peacefully at night.
