Rauscher is
the only in print cruising guide to Belize. It has been updated
in the Third edition (April, 2007) to include lat/lons for many useful
points. As we visit the many island
of Belize, we will add pictures
here along with GPS coordinates for the anchorages and comments and
updates to the cruising guide. You can navigate to the various
islands using the
links above or (for the Northern or Southern Cays) one of the two
charts which have been scanned from Capt.
Rauscher's large charts that are packaged with the Cruising Guide and
are available on our boat.
This is by no means a substitute
to buying the guide. It is essential to anyone cruising in
Belize. A new printing of this essential guide is now available
from Windmill
Hill Books. This web site should be considered a
supplement
to the Cruising
Guide. GPS coordinates are given as degrees:minutes.thousandths which
is standard for most GPS locations, not degrees:minutes:seconds which are
used in some charts. Be sure your GPS is set appropriately.
